Glasses Frame Size Calculator
Calculate your ideal glasses frame measurements and get buying guidance.
Measure from temple to temple across the widest part of your face. Average is about 135-145mm.
Look at the bridge of your nose between your eyes. Narrow bridges are common on thinner faces.
This determines temple arm length. If hats usually feel tight, select Large.

FAQ
Where do I find frame measurements on my current glasses?
Look on the inside of the temple arm for three numbers like "52-18-140". That is lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. Some frames print them on the nose bridge instead. These numbers are the standard for comparing frames across retailers like Warby Parker, Zenni, and EyeBuyDirect.
How do I order the right frame size online?
Compare this calculator's output to measurements listed on the retailer site. Stay within 2mm of lens width, 1mm of bridge width, and 5mm of temple length. Most online retailers list these on every product page. You will also need your PD for prescription lenses - use our Pupillary Distance Helper for that.
Can the temple arms be adjusted if they are too long or short?
Yes. Metal temples can be adjusted by an optician in minutes, usually for free. Acetate (plastic) temples can be heated and bent. Too-short temples (under 130mm) cannot be extended much, so getting the right length from the start is important. Our Face Shape Analyzer helps you choose frame shapes that complement your proportions.
